inGain launches FintechConnect: A platform for C-level networking and fintech insights

October marked the launch of FintechConnect, a new platform created by inGain, designed to bring together fintech executives from around Europe. Through events, educational content and strategic networking opportunities, FintechConnect supports C-level leaders by providing practical insights, best practices and resources tailored to navigate today’s fintech landscape.

FintechConnect Madrid, Spain

The launch event, held in Madrid, gathered 80 top fintech executives from Spain, focusing on one of the most pressing issues in the industry: regulatory readiness. Attendees gained critical insights into the European Commission’s Consumer Credit Directive and its implications for Spanish law. Panel discussions examined the challenges and opportunities that come with new regulations, including topics like affordability analysis, licensing requirements and best practices adopted from other EU markets.

Speakers offered real-world examples of how other countries have adapted to similar regulatory shifts, providing valuable perspectives on how Spain's fintech sector can prepare for these changes. Panelists also explored the implications of usury controls on credit costs, equipping leaders with an understanding of broader regulatory impacts on the fintech ecosystem.
